All 133 counties and cities. Virginia's Department of Elections posts a statewide absentee file on its election-results site about noon each day: every absentee ballot issued, by locality, age, gender and congressional district, and whether it came back in person, by mail or by drop box, or hasn't yet. It keeps only the newest file, so this site saves each one; the day-by-day view starts with a copy the Internet Archive kept from October 15. Early in-person voting runs from September 18 to October 31.

The statewide file has no history, but Fairfax County's daily report has every day's numbers, for this election and the last two. Running totals by days before Election Day, one point per day. All three Election Days are Tuesdays, so a day count falls on the same weekday each year.
