Sources: the Florida Division of Elections' daily statewide early-voting file (one row per early in-person voter) and its county-by-party mail and early-vote counts; its book-closing registration reports; and the VR Systems "Turnout Quick View" feeds that 66 county supervisors publish, which give ballots by day for 2022, 2024 and 2026. Counts run through the as-of day.

Against 2022 and 2024 at the same day
Cumulative ballots by day
Each line is the running total of ballots by days before Election Day. Florida's general elections fall on a Tuesday, so the same day count lands on the same weekday each cycle. Past cycles run to Election Day; 2026 stops at the as-of day. 2024 is the better mail comparison. Under a 2021 law (SB 90), a mail-ballot request lasts only through the next general election, so every request on file expired on December 31, 2024, as they had at the end of 2022. 2026 voters had to ask again, as 2024 voters did, while 2022 still ran on requests carried over from 2020.

Counties: 2026 vs 2022 and 2024
Every county on its own scale, cumulative through each day, for the ballot type picked at the top. The heading gives the change against the same day in 2024. Click a county to make it the geography for the whole page.
Party
Florida registers voters by party. Early in-person votes come from the voter-level early-voting file, so they can be split by party for every day. Mail ballots can't: state law (s. 101.62) keeps voter-level mail-ballot records confidential, available only to parties, candidates and political committees, so mail is shown as the county-by-party totals the Division of Elections publishes each day. "Other" is every minor party, including the Independent Party of Florida; NPA is no party affiliation.

Current totals are the Division of Elections' official counts. Same-day changes compare each county's own daily series (see Methods). Turnout divides by active registered voters at book closing (October 5). Click a row to select it.
Age, race and sex
How the mix has shifted, day by day (statewide)
Coming once the voter file arrives. Florida's early-voting file has no birth date, race or sex. Those come from the state's voter extract, which the Division of Elections sends on disk on request. Once the November 12 extract arrives, every early voter will be matched to it for splits by age, race and sex.
Until then, this is who is registered: active voters at book closing, by the race or ethnicity they gave on their registration.
