Source: the DC Board of Elections (DCBOE), which posts daily counts of mail ballots collected from its drop boxes (by ward), mail ballots received through the Postal Service (citywide) and, once early voting opens, voters at early vote centers, and posted the same reports for the 2024 general election. DC mails a ballot to every registered voter. Registered voters by ward and party come from DCBOE's monthly registration statistics; the ballot counts have no party split.
